HTV - how to use and press instructions

Important things to know when using iron on or heat transfer vinyl :

always mirror your image, shiny side down on the mat, and weed off any extra vinyl by gently pulling it off the carrier sheet.

 

Thermoflex Plus

  • 45° Blade Recommended
  • Cut this material in mirror image
  • 160°C
  • 2,5 - 3,0 bar (Medium pressure)
  • 15 Seconds. Re-press 2 seconds.
  • Peel Warm 
  • Wash warm (max 80°C) inside out,. Tumble Dry normal. Suitable for Dry Cleaning.
  • Can be layered except for metallic and neon colours.
  • Iron inside out. Do not iron directly onto transfers.
  • Suitable for cotton, mixtures of polyester/cotton and polyester/acrylic.
  • Application Tape not required

Shimmie Basics HTV

  • Place your design onto your material. Press for 150c -160c (302f - 320f) for 8-15 secs. 
  • Apply constant heat and pressure at all times. We recoomend you use a heat press and not to use a steam iron.
  • Peel off cool after a few minutes.

Flock HTV

  • For Cricut machine, I used Flock Iron-On setting.
  • Place your design onto your material. Press for 150c -160c (302f - 320f) for 15 secs. 
  • Apply constant heat and pressure at all times. We recoomend you use a heat press and not to use a steam iron.
  • Peel off cool after a few minutes - it is important to peel this vinyl when it has completely coold down!
